It is a part made of rubber, etc., attached to the contact surface of the heel of the shoe. Especially stiletto heels are easy to wear because this lift part is small. Rather than having it repaired by a local repair shop, it would be more reasonable to replace it yourself. Have a spare and wear your pumps longer!
■Why is it necessary to replace?
△ Worn lift. The rubber parts are worn and the metal is exposed.
・When the lift is worn down, the metal (nail) that is inserted into the heel pops out and makes an annoying “clicking” sound.
・If the metal (nail) protrudes, it is slippery and dangerous.
・When the lift disappears, the heel itself is scraped and becomes lower. It also makes repairs difficult.

Top lift replacement procedure
① Pull out the damaged lift with pliers or nippers
*It is easier to remove the remaining rubber part first, and then pull the nail out like a lever.
*If it is difficult to remove, use a flat-blade screwdriver to gradually widen the gap. At this time, do not damage the surface where the heel and lift meet. If the surface is not flat, there will be a gap when the lift is inserted, making it easier to remove.
②Insert the lift into the hole in the heel
*Insert the foot of the lift vertically into the pipe part of the heel. If you drive the lift in, it will be difficult to remove and reuse, so be careful of the direction you insert it!
△ There is a mark on the inside of the lift (the side facing the toe).
If the shape of the lift is round and the direction is difficult to understand, please insert the lift with the mark on the lift facing the inside of the heel.
③ Drive the lift with a hammer etc.
* Drive until there is no gap between the heel and the lift. If you don't have a hammer or hammer at home, you can also drive the lift by slamming your heels into the floor of your entryway.
*If you don't try to hit it all at once, but try to hit it gradually, you'll make less mistakes.
④ Completion
Once you get the hang of it, you'll be done in minutes.
Pulling it out in step 1 requires a lot of strength, so it might be a good idea to ask a man to help you. If you can't pull it out, we recommend that you bring it to a nearby shoe repair shop.
